Colonie || Lebanese Spotlight and ForumZFD

Lebanese Spotlight with the cooperation of ForumZFD established a summer camp for children aiming to provide a safe and joyful atmosphere for them to have fun. Lebanese Spotlight deeply acknowledges the tough times that Lebanon is going through due to the pandemic and economic crisis and how this impacts the psychological well-being of children, especially after a year of consecutive lockdowns and negligible school campus experience to socialize and play with their friends. This summer camp ensured they will be able to mentally prepare for the upcoming academic year back on campus and provided an enjoyable time for everyone.

Lebanese spotlight association took on a project with “sustain the world” under the title “sustain Beirut”.  The purpose of that project wast to provide voluntary jobs for the youth. That project consisted of 40 working days, the volunteers were divided into teams, each team were given a daily task, for example: “ distributing toys, clothes, and diapers, rearranging a library, location cleaning, videos for social media, front desk registration, food distribution, and technical matters.”
Our volunteers excelled their tasks, and finished the 40 days with hard work and enthusiasm with a little bit of fun and sarcasm.
